Starfish Recovery and Wellness - Residential Recovery in Richmond, VA

Accredited by the Virginia Association of Recovery Residences (VARR), Starfish Recovery and Wellness has been helping people in Richmond, VA, and surrounding areas overcome substance use disorder since 2020. Its credentialed staff work in conjunction with clinical partners to provide residents with holistic, “whole person” support services, reducing the likelihood of relapse. Starfish Recovery and Wellness staff members have all completed at least 80 hours of training and undergo regular REVIVE (overdose) training.

Starfish employs an adaptable approach to recovery, allowing residents to choose the pathway that best resonates with them in a structured and collaborative environment. It aims to fulfill the emotional, social, physical, mental, and educational needs of its residents through its intensive program. Once they have shown continuous engagement or been abstinent from substances for an extended period of time, residents enter the “Step Down” phase, which includes a return to work/school while still receiving support when necessary.

In addition to VARR certification, Starfish has a variety of community partners, including River City Comprehensive Counseling Services, The Innerwork Center, and Faces and Voices of Recovery of Virginia.
